GWIC is an independent private sector holding company re-engineered in 2008 by emerging entrepreneurs to facilitate in-flow foreign direct investment and trade opportunities in Southern Africa. GWIC is a holding company. GWIC’s business model is based on entering into sustainable business alliances and partnerships that offer our directors an opportunity to actively add value into those operations.

GWIC’s core business objective is to

facilitate local economic empowerment opportunities through local and foreign trade and investment opportunities;

Assist foreign investment companies to conduct local market needs and investment feasibility;

facilitate direct access and interactions with local government authorities and agencies relevant to the requirements of the potential investor(s);

source trade and investment incentives from government and government linked institutions of investments;

facilitate linkage between foreign affiliates and local SMEs
GWIC operates in collaboration with the two-most influential spheres of government in South Africa, i.e. local government (Municipality) and Provincial government. All trade and investment is delivered through and by these two spheres of government.
